lack of blogging....again

So I really really am going to make more of an effort with blogging.  I actually really enjoy doing it and get a massive sense of satisfaction from it.  Documenting my life on various social platforms for the past ten years or so, (which as I have got older has become less frequent) is something that makes me really happy, so I am going to be more disciplined with the entire thing.

Looking at some of my favourite blogs, and trying to kick a tumblr addiction, I really enjoy just a scrapbook or pictures as a post to sort of keep things chugging along.  The original Wah blog/zine was a bit like that, and Naomi the ASOS model (wearing my fit backless dress in a few post backs) blog also really reminds me of that as well.  Should definitely check them out.

So this is what has been keeping me from blogging this time around:

Realising I can download apps on boyfriends android phone, in preparation for my 24 month mobile contract to come to an end soon, so I can take hipster photos of Gittlemon on MY new phone.

Listening to Fleetwood Mac.  Something I have ashamedly missed out on before.  Most of my musical influence was from my parents, and I think they were a bit too young for them, and also people who are about 35 now, so all grunge and late 80's and early 90's everything.  I have a seriously varied taste, and like to think of myself, actually I totes know I am a music elitist.  IDGAF if that makes me a pretentious tool either.

Baby 'Bubble' Scarlett being born.  One of my best friends  Lauren (or ChaCha) gave birth to her daughter Scarlett.  I have never been close to anyone who has had a baby before.  Or at least not someone I could legitimately get excited and weird about it all, even have a cry over getting the wake up text with the weight and time of birth and all that.  Scarlett is just about the most beautiful baby I have ever seen, (apart from me as a baby, not being big headed or even joking I was BEAUTIFUL and I will prove this when I can access the scanner) with a full head of hair and a chubba chubba face.  My wonderful ChaCha had a really stress free pregnancy, a three hour labour from waters breaking to when Scarlett popped out, and from what I can glean from Lauren and Paul a chilled out baby who sleeps well at night!  Lucky cow.  So genuinely pleased for them.

Trying to get my hair back to red.  Yeah, I don't think I am going to blog about the ongoings of my stupid fucking barnet again.  Really someone should sit me down and hold my hands down and look me in the eyes and say CHARLOTTE CUTTING YOUR HAIR OFF/DYING IT BLACK/BLONDE IS A HUGE MISTAKE DO NOT DO IT.
